Because of the decrease of phosphate rock grade, the unutilized fine ore and medium and low grade flotation concentrate are used to produce the elemental phosphorus with the pelleting technology. The technology of elemental phosphorus production with the fine ore and flotation concentrate in China is introduced. The investment, cost and pelleting effect of pelleting technologies are reviewed.
