The feasibility of utilization of medium and low temperature ( 〈 350 ℃ ) waste heat in 120 kt/a sulfuric acid production with pyrite is discussed; The utilization plan for waste heat, process, equipment and its operation parameters of steam production with heat pipe evaporator and heating condensed water with tube preheater are introduced; The annually economic and environmental benefits of waste heat recovery are analyzed including saving standard coal more than 2.6 kt, reducing emission of CO2 more than 6.6 kt, saving power about 0.85 million kW.h, increasing the economic benefit more than 5 million RMB Yuan.
