随着金融业的蓬勃发展，商业银行在给金融消费者带来多样化金融产品和服务的同时，服务定价问题引起了社会的广泛关注。考察历史可以看出，我国商业银行服务定价权经历了由政府主导定价到市场定价为主的转变。理论上来说，商业银行提供金融服务收取相应费用符合市场经济规律，但现实中仍然存在定价程序不规范、标准不科学等亟待改进的问题。通过对不同主体定价效率的分析来看，以市场定价为主是未来金融服务发展的趋势。银行服务收费定价的规范必须通过利率市场化改革等途径来实现。
