The pushover software was used to analysis the elastic - plastic of a six floor entire steel frame and a steel frame filling with steel deep beam. Then the relative storey displacement and the interlayer displacement angle under the circumstance of frequent earthquake and rare earthquake was compared. The performance characteristic was found out under the circumstance of earthquake action.
