The reasonable anti-slide pile's spacing setting would play an important role in economy to ensure slope stability. According to the applicatian of soil arch theory in anti-slide projects, the influencing factors for soil arching effect in anti-slide pile engineerings are introduced in detail, and the effects of the influence factors on the critical spacing between anti-slide piles are also discussed. Then, the differences of various calculation algorithms are illustrated by practical projects, which could provide a gniding significance for the design and construction in anti-slide Bile engineerings.
