The metal forming is studied to the clutch disc hub by numerical simulation and closed precision forming tech- nology. The theory research and practice show that the precision radial extrusion of the clutch disc hub can he realized by closed precision forming technology. The part is formed with good formability, small extrusion force, high accuracy, good quality, and the production efficiency is improved largely. It gains the upper hand in technology and manufacturing cost with conven tional methods and is important to improve the production technology and quality.
