语言在中国先秦时期是哲学家探讨的中心话语和各家共同关注的焦点,儒、道、墨、名等各家在名实关系问题上展开了激烈的争论。在诸家之中,墨家表现出极端重言的特点,其积极成果就是墨家语言哲学思想的研究：指称论思想、言语行为思想、语境思想和隐喻思想。纵观研究先秦诸子语言哲学的文献,可以看出,墨家与儒家、道家和名家的语言哲学研究相比明显逊色。墨家的语言哲学思想至今并未得到专门的、深入的和系统的研究,期望学界改变墨家语言哲学研究滞后的状况,从而丰富先秦语言哲学研究的内容。

Language was the central topic of the discussion that the philosophers held in the Chinesepre-Qin period. It was also the focus of the joint attention what all the schools paid. All the schools, such asConfucian, Taoism, Mohist and Ming School, held a heated debate on the relationship of form and content.Mohist paid special attention of all the schools. Their positive result is the form of Mohist language philosophy ideology, which are known theory, speech act theory, context theory and metaphorical theory. From thestudy on the literature of language philosophy of the philosophers in the pre-Qin period, we can find thatthe language philosophy study of Mohist is obviously inferior to that of Confucian, Taoism and Ming school.We have not made a specialized, deep and systematic study on the language philosophy thought of Mohist sofar. Therefore, I hope that the academia would improve the lagging situation of Mohist language philosophystudy so that we could enrich the study content of the language philosophy study in the pre-Qin period.
