the dissertation analyses specific measures adopted by the German government for the energy-saving technique including building sun shading products in terms of policy support and economic subsidies, broken down as: macro-policy orientation and principle, economic subsidy and tax relief measures, concept of support for research and development on building energy-saving technique and executing organization etc. On top of that, it also briefs main achievements of a study about energy saving and co2 reduction from solar shading systems conducted by European Solar Shading Organization.
