求多项式的最大公因式常用分解因式和辗转相除法,分解因式对次数较高的多项式有一定难度,而辗转相除法又比较繁琐,根据矩阵的性质提出了一种求两个及两个以上多项式的最大公因式的方法——数值矩阵法。
