The article elaborates on school-running features and core competitiveness as well as their rela-tionship ,points out that school-running features are the important manifestation of core competitiveness of an university ,and suggests that Xi'an Aeronautical University should pursue survival and development with unique features ,and form the striking features of basing itself upon and serving aviation and stag-gered operation so as to enhance its core competitiveness .
