近年来随着高校的扩招，高等教育从精英教育转向大众教育，在给更多的学生创造了进入高等院校继续学习的机会的同时，也给高校的英语教学带来了一些困难。为贯彻分类指导、因材施教的原则和适应个性化教学的实际需要，实施有针对性的大学英语分级教学成为一种必然趋势。然而，分级教学是一个需要不断探索和改进的过程，目前仍然存在很多问题。文章探讨了分级教学的必要性及存在的问题，并就分级教学实施过程中存在的问题提出了解决对策。

In recent years, with the expansion of university enrollment, higher education from elite education to mass education, to create learning opportunities for more students to enter colleges, at the same time, also brings some difficulties to the English teaching in colleges and universities. To implement the classification guidance, teach students in accordance with their aptitude principle and to adapt to the actual needs of individualized teaching, to implement the classification of English teaching of the university has become a kind of inevitable trend. However, grade teaching is a process need to continuously explore and improve, there still exists many problems. This paper discusses the necessity of graded teaching and the existing problems, and put forward the countermeasures on grade teaching problems in the implementation process.
