随着经济的持续发展和对外贸易的不断繁荣，外语教师专业在工科大学教育中取得了较快的发展，培养了一大批优秀的专业人才。随着经济全球化的日益发展，外语教师专业的发展也呈现出多元化和专业化的特点，这个特点主要体现在知识结构的多元化、岗位需求的专业化和培养方式的系统化上，通过对其发展现状及趋势的研究对于专业发展具有普遍的指导意义。本文重点站在知识结构的视角下，对工科大学外语教师专业发展的现状、不足及对策等方面进行研究和阐述。
