With the continuous development of science and technology of surveying and mapping, the continuous improvement of measuring accuracy of total station, the total station shaft elevation survey method has gradually replaced the leading position of theodolite in mine survey application. This paper introduces the method of shaft elevation survey using total station, and combined with examples, focuses on the analysis of the accuracy of measurement results of this method.
