In recent years,along with the hosting of the high-profile Beijing Olympic Games,as well as the"happy Olympic Games"of the London,the Olympic movement has a greater and greater influence on Chi-nese people.This paper attempts to examine the current development of basic education in China from the perspective of deeply mining the Olympic culture and spirit connotation so as to provide the suggestions for the reform and development of the future foundation of sports education in China.
