This paper summarizes the general situation of Chinese medicine treating lumbar disc herniation in recent years, methods of Chinese medi-cine treating lumbar disc herniation are diverse, including Chinese medicine fumigation, massage therapy, herbal decoction, acupuncture, small nee-dle-knife and so on, which mostly relate with improvement of local circulation, analgesia, regulation of inflammatory factors and so on.
