This study designed a kind of swirl burner applying to mixing combustion of biomass and pulverized coal. The CFD software was used to simulate the co-firing characteristics in the boiler, so as to make sure the combustion process and corresponding combustion parameters, which can offer strong reference for practically manufacturing this co-firing swirl burner. Compared with coal burner, this co-firing swirl burner is much better economically, environmentally, and efficiently.
