清代云南科举从顺治十七年（1660年）始,至光绪二十九年（1903年）止,共开97科乡试,产生了97位解元。清代云南解元群体存在着自身的特性：首先是云南解元群体分布的地域集中性和中试时段的时间集中性,其次是解元群体仕途差异性,最后是解元群体呈现科举家族特性。这些特性使云南解元群体有别于其他省份。有清一代,云南产生了如萨纶锡、谷际岐、窦垿和周钟岳等著名解元。
