介绍了玉米／辣椒-水稻-蔬菜种植模式及该种植模式的优势，并利该模式进行了生产试验。结果表明：该模式每lhm2年平均产粮15160．5kg，粮食产量与水稻-水稻-蔬菜模式基本持平，产值增加62196．3元，纯收益增加46546．8元，边际成本报酬率达3．97，新增纯收益率60．5％，实现“吨粮万元”目标，经济效益明显。该模式适于南方双季稻区应用，尤其适用于类似来宾市春、秋干旱频繁发生的地区推广。
