In this paper, the properties and features of A301 low-temperature and low-pressure ammonia synthesis high-activity catalyst and its application in the φ1800 mm synthesis reactor were introduced. The configuration and procedure of synthesis system and the filling of catalyst were also explained. The performance of A301 ammonia synthesis catalyst was evaluated by comparing the data of cat- alyst reduction under high temperature and that of synthesis operational state. The results showed that A301 ammonia synthesis catalyst possessed a high catalytic activity, low pressure condition and considerable ammonia production.
