在生物学和医学领域的染色体分析中,边缘检测技术尤为重要。最大程度地获取边缘细节和降低噪声干扰是染色体边缘检测的关键。本文提出了一种改进的边缘检测方法。这种方法的理论基础是阈值迭代法和数学形态学,能增强染色体边缘和图像对比度,同时获取更清晰真实的边缘信息。通过计算机仿真实验发现,相比常规算法,这种改进算法能够得到更加准确可靠的染色体边缘图像。

Detecting more edge details and reducing the noise impact to the largest degree is the key of edge detection for chromosome. In this report, a new edge detection method is proposed. The method is based on iterative thresholding and mathematic morphology. First of all, the iterative thresholding algorithm is used to enhance the edge of the chromosomes and the contrast of the image. Then, the edges of the chromosomes in the image can be detected using the contour extracting algorithm. By completing the experiment, it can be found that the new method is much better for chromosome image detection than the commonly used differential operators.
