Kandel's curriculum thoughts on teacher education mainly embody five aspects:First,teacher education curriculum is deeply rooted in Hberal Education.Second,a solid understanding of numerous fields relating to teaching is emphasized.Third,the knowledge of such partieular subjects as history is necessary.Fourth,teachers should know what to teach,how to teach and why to teach.Fifth,importance should be attached to moral educmion.It is of great instructive significance to study Kandel's curriculum thoughts on teacher education so as to improve teacher education curriculum in our country.
