After undergoing large disturbances such as no-load frequency disturbance, abrupt rejecting rated load and out of synchronization, three typical dynamic process characteristics for hydraulic turbine regulating system are defined. Through the dynamic simulation of hydraulic turbine regulating system, each type dynafnic process characteristics under 3 large disturbances are analyzed in details. The relations between dynamic process types of hydraulic turbine regulating system and PID parameters of hydraulic turbine governor are briefly analyzed.
