The safety operation of high-speed railways should be given the first priority as it is concerned with the life security of the passengers. Tracing back to the history of high-speed railway development, the paper seeks to explore ways of upgrading measures for operation safety such as train protection and auto-control technology, monitoring and alarming system, field testing, staff training and management etc. to establish a safety operation system and ensure security of high-speed railway operation.
