This paper carries out experiment and numerical simulation for residual stress of overall Dongjiang Bridge joint,obtains estimation formula of residual stress,and compressively understands overall residual stress of the bridge by using the formula,so as to ensure the safe and reliable bridge structure and to meet the durability requirement.
