Interpolation algorithm of parabola is the core technology of the parabolic contour NC machining. The author researched and obtained the equal step length time dividing algorithm of parabolic interpolation base on parabolic standard equation, using the fundamental of time dividing interpolation algorithm. By the interpolation algorithm it can be guaranteed that the actual contour step length is stable and the feed is stable. Every interpolation point can be located at the parabolic contour. The precision of the interpolation algorithm is high.
