蓝鹤（Anthropoides paradisea）是原产自南部非洲的珍惜鹤类，北京动物园自从2001年引进蓝鹤以来一直致力于蓝鹤的繁殖研究，并于2005年获得国内蓝鹤人工繁殖的首次成功。本文对北京动物园一对笼养蓝鹤的繁殖期行为特征进行了初步观察，并采用瞬时扫描法对繁殖期笼养蓝鹤行为的时间分配进行了初步研究。时间分配的研究表明：笼养蓝鹤繁殖期各行为所占比例依次为，静栖38．2％，取食23．2％，梳理20．9％，游走15．8％，其它行为1．9％。繁殖期行为的时间分配在两性中即存在差异也存在相关性。繁殖期行为分配受日间气温变化影响。

Blue cranes（ Anthropoides paradisea ）, are the rare cranes endemic to southern Afi：ica. Beijing Zoo has been engaged in the study of blue cranes＇ breeding since 2001. It is quite likely that they will be the first to succeed in the artificial propagation of blue cranes in China in 2005. In breeding season, we observed the behavior of a couple of blue cranes captivated in Beijing Zoo. Further more, the behavior rhythm and time budget of this couple were studied by instantaneous scan sampling method. The result indicates that, resting, feeding, preening, walking behavior make up 38.2%, 23.2%, 20.9%, 15.8% of captivated blue cranes＇ whole time budgets, respectively. The time budget of a breeding crane exhibits difference as well as correlations between male and female individuals. The whole time budget is also influenced by daily temperature variation.
