以石蜡油为唯一碳源进行芽孢杆菌的培养。观察石蜡油降解过程中芽孢杆菌的形态变化和生长情况。研究发现,芽孢杆菌在起始阶段存在生长迟滞现象,表明芽孢杆菌中与石蜡油降解相关的基因表达属于诱导型。在以石蜡油为唯一碳源的培养过程中,芽孢杆菌于0.5d开始形成芽孢,3d后营养体完全转化为芽孢,5d后部分芽孢开始重新萌发,产生新的营养体。

The study observed the changes of morphology and cell growth of Bacillus during the degra- dation of paraffin oil. The Bacillus was cultured with paraffin oil as the sole carbon source. The growth of Bacillus was found retardation in the initial stage, which suggested that the genes about deg- radation of paraffin oil in Bacillus were inducible. In the medium with paraffin oil as the sole carbon source, few spores produced in 0.5 days, but almost all the vegetative cell converted into spores after 3 days, then some spores germinated to produce the vegetative cells after 5 days.
