This paper presents the basic theory of traction network’s voltage loss of existing electric railway, a simulation model of traction power-supply system is presented to analyze it exactly. In order to reduce the voltage loss, two measures are adopted and the effectiveness is verified by simulation, and the harmonic character is also analyzed.
