刘应秋的山水诗是对安康地域山水的诗意描写,也是诗人行踪游览景点的记录与感慨。其山水诗有传统山水诗歌的隐逸避世情怀,更有咏怀抒情、历史兴亡等人生思考,这是对山水诗的新变。

류응추적산수시시대안강지역산수적시의묘사,야시시인행종유람경점적기록여감개。기산수시유전통산수시가적은일피세정부,경유영부서정、역사흥망등인생사고,저시대산수시적신변。
Liu Yingqiu＇s scenic poems were the wonderful poetry description of Ankang mountains and rivers that were his visiting records and sigh emotions also.Besides the traditional scenic poem recluse feeling,that Liu Yingqiu＇s scenic poems strongly express his past memory emotion,history rising and falling,as well as his life thinking.It was a new change to the Chinese scenic poem.
