民间工艺是我国民族民间艺术文化的物质载体，它对儿童审美、道德、文化、人格等方面的教育功能显著，儿童精神的培养同样有助于民间工艺继续发扬光大，二者在中国民间文化与儿童精神培养的整体中相互作用、相互影响、不可分割。针对当前民间工艺在儿童精神培养中的缺失现象，呼吁民间工艺的回归是培养全面、综合、健康的儿童精神的有力之举。
