在《荀子》中,礼法不仅走向了高度的融合,而且获得了崭新的内涵。荀子吸收了法家狭义上的“法”,即“刑”,这是礼法融合的第一重内涵;礼法融合的第二重内涵是礼的“法”化,即礼的外在化、规范化、客观化;更为重要的第三重涵义是,“礼法”被赋予儒家意义上的道德修养的内涵。通过对法家之“法”的道德化改造,荀子不仅克服了儒家之礼与法家之法的对立,而且也推动了“道德儒学”向“政治儒学”的过渡与转换。
在《荀子》中,禮法不僅走嚮瞭高度的融閤,而且穫得瞭嶄新的內涵。荀子吸收瞭法傢狹義上的“法”,即“刑”,這是禮法融閤的第一重內涵;禮法融閤的第二重內涵是禮的“法”化,即禮的外在化、規範化、客觀化;更為重要的第三重涵義是,“禮法”被賦予儒傢意義上的道德脩養的內涵。通過對法傢之“法”的道德化改造,荀子不僅剋服瞭儒傢之禮與法傢之法的對立,而且也推動瞭“道德儒學”嚮“政治儒學”的過渡與轉換。
재《순자》중,례법불부주향료고도적융합,이차획득료참신적내함。순자흡수료법가협의상적“법”,즉“형”,저시례법융합적제일중내함;례법융합적제이중내함시례적“법”화,즉례적외재화、규범화、객관화;경위중요적제삼중함의시,“례법”피부여유가의의상적도덕수양적내함。통과대법가지“법”적도덕화개조,순자불부극복료유가지례여법가지법적대립,이차야추동료“도덕유학”향“정치유학”적과도여전환。
In Xunzi, the creative interpretation of etiquette and law makes the integration of the two reach a high degree and thus gains a new meaning. Xunzi absorbs the Legalist "law" in its narrow sense, which means punish- ment and this is the first connotation of the integration. The second connotation is the legalization of etiquette, in other words, the externalization, standardization and objectification of the etiquette. What's more important, "eti- quette and law" is given the meaning of morality in light of Confucianism. By moral transformation of Legalist "law", Xunzi has successfully overcome the opposition between the Confucian's etiquette and Legalist law, promoted the transition and transformation from "moral Confucianism" to "political Confucianism".
