基于光纤通信的全数字通道在电力系统继电保护领域逐渐得到推广和应用,使得基于广域同步实时信息构成统一纵联保护系统成为可能。在统一纵联保护系统中,借助广域同步实时信息,不仅能够完善继电保护系统的性能,而且能够实现若干辅助功能,有助于进一步提高继电保护系统的可靠性。介绍了统一纵联保护系统的技术背景、保护智能电子设备的结构、信息帧的分类和格式,并从完善纵联保护系统性能、提高自动重合闸系统性能、输电线路参数在线计算和过渡电阻的伏安特性测算等几个方面讨论了统一纵联保护系统的功能及实现原理。

Fiber optic communication based all-digital channel has been widely applied in power system protection.The appearance of digital channel technology makes all kinds of information exchange reliable and fast,then the construction of unified pilot protection system(UPPS) is becoming possible.Based on abundant wide-area synchronous real-time information,UPPS can not only apply several protection criteria to improve performance of relay-protection system,but also implement some auxiliary functions.So it is in favor of increasing reliability of relay-protection system further.Finally,the technical background,relay-protection intelligent electronic device(IED) structure,information frame classification and format of UPPS are introduced.Besides,UPPS functions and implementation principle such as relay-protection performance improvement,auto-reclosure coordination,transmission line parameter on-line calculation and volt-ampere characteristic measurement and calculation of transient resistance are discussed.
