China's coal mining area is short of water and mine water resources are significant. In this article, the author discusses about the related concepts of mine water resources, deals with the contents and methods of mining area water quality evaluation, introduces the procedures and methods of supply and demand analysis and forecasting in mining area, and puts forward three optimal allocation modes and research methods of mining area water resources
