This paper discusses the professional abilities, which the students majoring in landscape engineering technology of vocational colleges have to be desired, are the teaching goal of this curriculum and the orientation of its construction. The curriculum construction of Garden plants and application consists of six parts： the integration of teaching contents, the reformation of teaching means, the construction of practice bases, teaching team, teaching materials, and the improvement of assessment as well.
