The main span of Chongqi bridge is variable cross-section steel girder,in which the bottom plate is second-degree parabola figure. In this paper,the fabrication techniques of curvilineal bottom plate,which were proved very accurate and convenient, were studied in the fabrication of steel box girder of Chongqi bridge, the reserach could be taken as reference for other similar projects.
