The sources of high temperature damage at No.S2S9 fully mechanized working face in Daping Coal Mine were analyzed and the corresponding cooling measures were introduced. The application scheme and the existing problems of local cooling technique used at the working face were described as an emphasis.Finally,the cooling effect was analyzed.
