Interest theory is one of basic courses of the finance and insurance. Combining with the practice of teaching, this pa-per explores the relationship between interest theory and mathe-matical tool, proposes the cultivation of students' thinking of ac-cumulation and discount, and emphasizes that we must combine financial theory with practice. Moreover, we can try arousing stu-dents' learning interest by combining the latest developments in interest theory.
