屈原爱国精神的阐释,经过了漫长的历史过程,朱熹的《楚辞集注》代表了宋代楚辞学的基本形态,王夫之的《楚辞通释》代表了清代楚辞学的基本形态,从朱熹到王夫之,体现了楚辞学发展的两次转型。自汉代贾谊、刘安、司马迁、王逸到洪兴祖,对屈原"忠君"与"爱国"精神的认识与评价各有不同,至朱子《集注》始以忠君爱国为论,他的"过于中庸"、"可增加三纲五典之重"反映了理学家的立场。而清代王船山《通释》则强调屈子"千古独绝之忠",这种"忠",重在忠于国家,忠于人民,而非君主一人而已,具有更为深刻而代表时代进步的新内涵。

An interpretion on Qu Yuan" patriotic spirit embodies two transforms in the development of The Songs of Chu , which is through a long period of historic process, including Zhu Xi's The Selection on The Songs of Chu representing the basic style of The Songs of Chu in the Song Dynasty, Wang Fuzhi's An All-round Interpetion on The Songs of Chu representing the basic style of The Songs of Chu in the Qing Dynasty.It is quite difference of their cognition and valuation to Qu Yuan's spirits of "loyal man"and "patriotism"from Jia Yi, Liu'an, Sima Qian,Wang Yu to Hong Xingzu since the Han Dynasty. Zhu Zi's The Selection reflects the stand of masters with Confucious school while An All-round Interpetion stresses the word "loyal"in which the new concept of times should be embodied.
