The inadequacies and reasons about the cultivating innovative capacity were analyzed for undergraduate students from the application-oriented university. It is pointed out that the practical teaching is an important part for cultivating scientific quality and innovative capacity. Combined with the experience on teaching reform of electronic technology curriculum design, some methods and approaches were proposed to enhance the innovative capacity of students in the teaching process.
