人类聚族而居导致人们把共同地理区域作为民族建构的重要因素,其推动了人们对民族与地域的双重认知,民族与民族地理区域共同成为了人们的情感寄托与价值奉献对象,但是地域边界也阻碍着民族之间的交流。为了深入推动民族地区的社会发展与民族之间的和谐相处,正确认知民族与地域关系的发展方向则是民族地理区域不仅应被视为民族成员生息繁衍的聚居之地,还应该注重其与周边地区的相互连通。

People of the same ethnic background like to live together, which makes the people regard the geographical area for living as an important factor for national establishment. This practice has stimulated the dual cognition of nations and regions for man. Nations and national regions have become the object for man to contribute to their emotion and value. However, regional boundary hinders national communication. In order to push the social development and harmonious co -existence between nations in the ethnic areas, a correct understanding of the development orientation of the relation between nation and region is that the ethnic areas should not only be regarded as the gathering areas for life and generation but also be regarded as the areas to link up their neighboring areas.
