The addition of deoxidized aluminum to precision castings was tested, the effects of deoxidized aluminum on impact absorbing energy of castings were analyzed. The preferred addition of deoxidized aluminum was presented, and the test method to judge the reasons of brittle fracture for precision castings was provided.
