The forward extrusion is taken as the optimal blank forming method instead of the original rough turning process by researching and analyzing on forming process of aluminum alloy shaft rod parts, also the main conditions and parameters of isothermal forward extrusion forming process for 7A04 aluminum alloy, the selection of mold temperature control device as well as temperature control principle, mold construction and its operating procedure are introduced. The problems in the production and solution methods, the quality effect of blank made by the forward extrusion process are described.
