在中小学音乐教育中,音乐欣赏的重要性不容置疑。但是,音乐欣赏重要,音乐表现与创造同样重要甚至可能更为重要,我们不能因为强调欣赏而忽视了其他方面。在音乐新课改之后出现了一种倾向,对音乐欣赏给予了特别的关注与重视,这是因为对审美这一概念的理解还不是十分准确或有些失之偏颇,可能下意识地认为审美就是欣赏,进而认为音乐教育强调以审美为核心,就是强调音乐欣赏教学。事实上,艺术活动的方方面面都是审美的,审美并非是某门艺术的某一项活动之专属。具体到音乐艺术来说,音乐欣赏是审美,音乐表现与创造也是审美,通过创作、表现、欣赏等音乐实践而获得愉悦体验的一切活动,均为审美。
在中小學音樂教育中,音樂訢賞的重要性不容置疑。但是,音樂訢賞重要,音樂錶現與創造同樣重要甚至可能更為重要,我們不能因為彊調訢賞而忽視瞭其他方麵。在音樂新課改之後齣現瞭一種傾嚮,對音樂訢賞給予瞭特彆的關註與重視,這是因為對審美這一概唸的理解還不是十分準確或有些失之偏頗,可能下意識地認為審美就是訢賞,進而認為音樂教育彊調以審美為覈心,就是彊調音樂訢賞教學。事實上,藝術活動的方方麵麵都是審美的,審美併非是某門藝術的某一項活動之專屬。具體到音樂藝術來說,音樂訢賞是審美,音樂錶現與創造也是審美,通過創作、錶現、訢賞等音樂實踐而穫得愉悅體驗的一切活動,均為審美。

In music education in the primary and secondary schools, the importance of music appreciation is beyond doubt, but musical expression and musical creation ought to be as important or even more important. We must not commit the error of emphasizing appreciation at the expense of other aspects. After the new curriculum reforms in music education a tendency has appeared in which music appreciation receives an undue attention because of an incorrect understanding of the concept of aesthetic appreciation. People may unconsciously confuse aesthetic appreciation with enjoyment and mistakenly think that ap- preciation-centered music education stresses the teaching of music enjoyment. In fact, every aspect of an artistic activity is aesthetic and therefore aesthetic appreciation is not limited to a particular activity of a particular art form. As far as the art of music is concerned, while it is true that music enjoyment belong none the less to aesthetic appreciation. In a word, through the creation, expression and enjoyment of music. is aesthetic appreciation, musical expression and musical creation aesthetic appreciation permeates all activities that procure pleasure
