唐诗是中国古代诗歌史上的顶峰,唐诗园地百花齐放;唐诗大家灿若群星。唐诗是唐代诗人群体的智慧结晶,但唐帝王对于唐诗发展的影响也非常重要。唐帝王身体力行对唐诗创作起着导向作用,举办应制、诗会活动对唐诗创作产生推动作用,看重诗人、礼贤下士对唐诗创作起到鼓舞作用。

당시시중국고대시가사상적정봉,당시완지백화제방;당시대가찬약군성。당시시당대시인군체적지혜결정,단당제왕대우당시발전적영향야비상중요。당제왕신체역행대당시창작기착도향작용,거판응제、시회활동대당시창작산생추동작용,간중시인、례현하사대당시창작기도고무작용。
The poetry of the Tang Dynasty reaches the peak in the history of Chinese ancient poetry,rich in contents and great in the number of poets. It is not only the collective wisdom of the poets during the time, but also under the great influence of emperors in the Tang Dynasty, whose engagement played a guiding role in the poetry creation and promoted and inspired the production of the poetry and the writing of the poets.
