The city public security video surveillance system uses the computer and network communication technology to achieve effective monitoring of urban security. It plays an important role in urban law and order man- agement. In this paper, the construction scheme for the city police and monitoring technology system is proposed. It is based on demand and application and aims at usability, creativity and sustainability. It can serve as a reference for comprehensive city public security monitoring.
