The chemistry of fine chemicals was an important course for applied chemistry and chemical engineering and technology specialty. It was found that both study and teaching were difficult for students and teachers, respectively. In order to solve this problem, the case teaching method was applied in the chemistry of fine chemicals teaching. The case teaching method not only aroused student＇s study enthusiasm, deepened their understanding of new knowledge, but also raised their abilities of making scientific research and solving practical problems.
