The current situation of low - rank coal in China, some problems in the utilization of low - rank coal, and the process flow diagrams and industrial developments of several drying technologies applied in China were introduced, finally advices for enterprises in choosing proper drying technologies were proposed, which should depend on the properties of coal and drying energy sources.
