The paper mainly introduces the vibration principle for the frequency method to test the cable force and the identification methods for the fundamental frequency of the long and short stayed cable,compared the test results of the three long-term supervision of the cable force at Yamen Bridge,and analyzes the reasons for the changes at the cable force,so as to provide the reference for the design of the cable-stayed bridge.
