医疗风险管理的最终目的是减少医疗风险。急诊科是医院抢救急、危、重患者的前沿阵地，也是医疗风险存在的高危场所。制定实施急症临床路径规范救治、加强高风险环节管理、提高医务人员急救技能能有效防范急症医疗风险发生。医务人员还应合法合理保留证据，承担医疗风险发生时的举证责任，公正维护医患双方利益。
