Under the background of constant development of modern technology, the engineering survey technology is also in constant ascension. Informatization is an important charact-eristic of modernization, and the development of information technology provides an important safeguard for engineering survey technology. In this article, the author bases on the cha-racteristics of engineering survey and analyzes several inform-atization in the surveying and mapping engineering, and puts forward several optimization strategies for the development so as to help engineering measurement more effective.
